1. Who We Are

PICKETTECH (pickettech.com) is a technical education and productivity platform providing free browser-based tools for electronics learning, engineering calculation, lean manufacturing, and AI productivity. Our tools include web applications and Chrome browser extensions.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information
• Account credentials or authentication data
• Payment or financial information
• Location data, IP addresses, or device identifiers
• Browsing history or web activity
• Usage analytics from within our tools
• Any data entered into our tools (work orders, calculations, ideas, etc.)

3. How Our Tools Store Data

Some PICKETTECH tools save data locally so your work persists between sessions. This includes tools such as LeanFlow, 5S Audit, OEE Tracker, and Kaizen Board.

All data is stored exclusively on your own device using your browser's built-in local storage or, in the case of Chrome extensions, Chrome's local extension storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to PICKETTECH or any third party.

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or uninstalling the extension.

4. Chrome Extensions

PICKETTECH Chrome extensions (including LeanFlow) request only the minimum permissions necessary to function:

• storage — to save your work orders, settings, and notes locally on your device
• tabs — to open the tool as a full browser tab and switch to an existing tab rather than opening a duplicate

No extension communicates with any external server. No extension reads, accesses, or monitors any browser activity outside of its own tab.

5. Google Analytics

Our website (pickettech.com) uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated data about page visits — such as which pages are viewed and approximately which country visitors are from. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used only to understand which tools are most useful so we can improve them.

Google Analytics is not present in any of our Chrome extensions.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Third-Party Services

PICKETTECH tools do not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party services, APIs, or databases. All functionality is self-contained and runs entirely in your browser.

7. Children's Privacy

Our tools are designed for students, makers, and professionals of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we collect no data whatsoever, there is no additional risk to younger users.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how our tools handle data, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date at the top. We will not reduce your privacy protections without clearly communicating the change here.
